I am a professional locksmith, owner of MILLENNIUM LOCK in Lawrenceville, GA. I have known Kevin for over twenty years. Even though I make decent money, I consider myself mediocre when compared to Kevin. You see, anyone can call themselves a Master Locksmith, or a Master Carpenter, or a goat, or a goldfish... but does that make them these things? (Don't answer... the question was rhetorical). To become a Master Locksmith... one must combine years of study, practice and knowledge with their own natural or developed physical skills to the point where they can pass three levels of IMPOSSIBLE testing and demonstrations of their abilities. If you make it that far (most don't) Then you are allowed to take the test to become a Master. Ladies and gentlemen... I want you to know that WAY LESS THAN 1% OF ALL THE LOCKSMITHS IN THE WHOLE WORLD are Masters. And Kevin Wilson is one of them.

I called to schedule an appointment at my place of business and Glenn came a little earlier which was great. We had a quote from a "competitor" that was way overpriced not to mention the fact that he left our handleset in disarray. Glenn was very professional as well as knowledgeable. I've used Kevin Wilson's locksmith services on three houses now and prefer him for the great job he does. High quality locks and door reinforcements are the first line of defense in home security and I found out the hard way after a break-in at my first home. I called Kevin and he responded the same day to fix and reinforce my doors. Kevin is one of the few locksmiths in Atlanta who is willing to install door reinforcements and I appreciate how much skill and labor goes into this endeavor. Communicating with Kevin is easy because he uses texts and will ask for photos of your doors to evaluate them, then give you recommendations, options, and pricing. He also has a number of informational videos on YouTube about reinforcement hardware, lock quality, and other security issues. If you are not familiar with this aspect of home security, these videos would be a good introduction. I feel way more secure with reinforced doors and high-quality locks, so would strongly recommend these security upgrades.

Kevin is the best locksmith I’ve ever found. Trustworthy, honest, and fair. I found Kevin on YouTube about three months ago looking for a high security lock to be installed in my premises. I wanted a special lock, nothing ordinary, with a captive key for child proofing. This is the kind of lock a licensed bonded locksmith should install. He gave me a call, and from the first time I talked to him on the phone I felt at ease. I also found out he did the locks at my place of employment too. He consulted on my security situation for my new home. He came out to my Sandy Springs residence and was the very first time I met him I was glad I made my decision, and waited, for him to come out and help me with my locks. He did an excellent job installing the captive key deadbolt on my lock, keyed me six high security keys for a very fair price, and even put some custom pinning just for me. He installed the lock in my residence, made some improvements and used extra long screws and did a really excellent job. He spent at least 15 minutes making sure the lock was smooth and true to what he said “when you sling that deadbolt, it should feel like a safe” and indeed it does. Every day when I come home I sling that bolt and it engages so nicely because of the excellent job he did. He also made some custom modifications and security enhancements to my sliding glass doors and to my French door. It all looks and functions professionally with an absolute great fit and finish. He was super fair and reasonable on the pricing. My advice is into call this guy and if you have to wait for an installation, do it. 99% of locksmiths suck and this guy is absolutely amazing.

I was looking for a locksmith to help me with improving the security on the exterior doors of my new home. I did some research and saw that Kevin received many very positive reviews. I also liked that Kevin has been in the locksmith business for many years, which is not easy to find these days. I called and actually reached Kevin on the first try (I really respect a business owner that answers his phones!!). I told Kevin what I was interested in and he provided a variety of options, along with some very informative videos on the items he recommended. He also offered to go by the home to assess the current security, as his office was nearby (I support local businesses!!). Kevin did a thorough review of the builder locks and door construction and called back to cover the best ways to upgrade. His pricing was very reasonable for upgrading everything. On the day of the job, I was surprised (again) that Kevin came out to do the work. I thought it was only going to be Kevin, but he also brought two of his very capable team to assist. What I thought would be an all day job was knocked out in three hours. Now to the workmanship. I have high standards and Kevin and team passed with flying colors. Not only were they attentive to details, making sure everything worked and looked right, they were careful not to damage anything and cleaned up thoroughly when finished. Ultimately, with this kind of work you have to place high trust with your contractor. I don't hand out trust easily and don't often write reviews, but in this case because of the exceptional service I thought it was well deserved. Bottom line, if you need a skilled and trustworthy locksmith, call Kevin first!
