TrustDALE's Three For Thursday
If you’re a Phillies fan, consider yourself warned. I experienced the perfect night recently at the Braves playoff game. First, the weather was amazing. Second, it was nice to be reminded that people from all walks of life can come together in support of a common cause and forget the distractions that too often keep us apart. Who didn’t get goose bumps when Timothy Miller sang God Bless America between innings? Third, the Braves pulled off an amazing comeback just when it appeared all hope for a victory was lost. And finally, I got the amazing gratification of seeing the joy in my son Adam’s face when center fielder Michael Harris caught a fly ball at the wall and delivered it to Austin Riley who relayed the ball to Matt Olson for the game-clutching double play. My point? We have a wonderful community. It’s right in front of us. All we must do is recognize it, respect it, and value it! See the picture above of my son Adam and I celebrating the win!

Today's Lesson On How To Be A Savvy Consumer!
Today's seven-point lesson is on signing (or not signing) a document you don’t understand.
Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Possession is 9/10ths of the law isn’t just an expression. Funds - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? Signing an unintelligible agreement and hoping for a payoff is a recipe for disaster. Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he cannot be found after he gets your money. The good news? A person who can’t be found isn’t worried about getting your signature. The bad news? They have your money, so they don’t need your contract. Define - Your deal by comparing Product, Offer and Price. Identifying what you want and what it’s worth before you sign is 3/4ths of the battle, but insist you get a thorough explanation of the deal you’re signing! Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical Negotiation, an Equitable Contract, and an Effective Guarantee. Safeguarding these three steps removes the problem of signing a contract you don’t understand. Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, Checking Reviews, and Examining government and watchdog reports. This step will likely let you know if confusing contracts are a pattern and problem for this company. Legitimize - Your deal by determining if the company has a business license, liability insurance and is Lawsuit and background checked. Unfair contracts are sometimes unwound in court, but if you have to go this far, chances are you didn’t follow the previous six steps.SCAMMERS BEWARE: SEASONED CONSUMER INVESTIGATOR DALE CARDWELL GIVES READERS A GAME PLAN TO AVOID RIP-OFFS
