Three for Thursday 12.15.2022
Welcome to TrustDALE's Three For Thursday with Consumer Investigator Dale Cardwell.
I witnessed a glimpse of the country I grew up in last Saturday. The Army Navy football game was a nailbiter. I've always thought of Army as power, and Navy as finesse. The contest came down to the wire, with a controversial call - embellished to near frensy by the commentators. In the end, both teams, who hate each other by the way, accepted the result, honored their alma maters by singing their school songs, then left the field, to undoubtably have the other team's back as Americans united in the belief that we're the last best hope for humankind on this earth. The next time the media or some politician wants to set the national agenda on division, please think about those soldiers who play a game with all their might but understand their best ally on earth is often on the other side of the ball.

Todays Lesson on how to be a Savvy Consumer!
Today's seven-point lesson is on maintaining your composure while in a dispute.
Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Paying in full is often your silent agreement to abide with an unsatisfactory result in the event you are disappointed.
Funds - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? Failing to recognize an opportunity that is too good to be true may require your submission to a degree of loss due to poor judgement.
Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he can't be found after he gets your money. Don't beat yourself up when this happens, simply learn from your mistake.
Define - Your deal by comparing product, Offer and Price. This is your second-best insurance to avoid a future dispute over performance.
Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical negotiation, an Equitable contract, and an Effective Guarantee. This is your best insurance to avoid losing your composure. It's also known as "an ounce of prevention...".
Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, checking reviews, and examining government and watchdog reports. Your third best insurance to avoid losing your composure in the future.
Legitimize - your deal by determining if the company has a business license, liability insurance and is Lawsuit and background checked. Most companies who abide by these guidelines also mean you no harm, so mind your tongue and speak respectfully in the event of a dispute. You'll get farther that way. .
