Three for Thursday 12.24.2020
Welcome to TrustDALE's Three For Thursday with Consumer Investigator Dale Cardwell.
"Till he appeared, and the soul felt its worth." That's my favorite line from my favorite Christmas carol. I think of how sad and lonely life must have been prior to people having a value system built on an ideal honoring God and loving your neighbor. No matter your belief system or what star you follow, we all love new beginnings. I'm going to do everything in my power to solve problems, treat people fairly and yes - wow them with love and wonder. I want to thank you for hanging in there in 2020. I want to thank my TrustDALE team for bringing hope to people who thought they had no where to turn. I know in my heart 2021 is going to be better. In the meantime - thankyou for giving my soul worth

Todays Lesson on how to be a Savvy Consumer!
Today's seven-point lesson is on where to look for advice:
Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Unless it's bubblegum from a machine, never let pressure be a factor when you consider a purchase.
Funds - - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? If not, it's likely too good to be true. When the price is curiously low, seek out an independent expert who knows the product for advice.
Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he can't be found after he gets your money. Again, unless its bubblegum, don't give anyone an amount of money you'd regret losing if you haven't confirmed their credentials and findable address.
Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical negotiation, an Equitable contract and an Effective Guarantee. My rule of thumb? If the contract is more than two pages and it's loaded with industry jargon, find an independent expert in the field and ask them to evaluate it. If it involves more than $10,000 also ask an attorney to review it.
Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, checking Reviews, and examining government and watchdog reports. These are your best resources to determine if the entity has a track record of fairness or fraud.
Legitimize your deal by determining if the company has a business license, liability insurance and is Lawsuit and background checked. These too are "musts" when the value of the deal is money you can't risk.
