Three for Thursday 12.31.2020
Welcome to TrustDALE's Three For Thursday with Consumer Investigator Dale Cardwell.
I've read a lot of articles this year about mental health. I think equilibrium plays a big role in that. One small thing that's really made a difference for me this year is consistency. Oddly enough, I have not missed a single day of exercise (running) this entire year. Normally I miss two or three days - because of travel or the weather - but this year, three days a week - every single week for a year. My suggestion for the new year? Be consistent, and let others know they can count on you. When we look around and see that we can count on one another, we have a community of trust. The TrustDALE team and I looking forward to serving you in 2021. Happy New Year!

Todays Lesson on how to be a Savvy Consumer!
Today's seven-point lesson on recognizing the role "greed" plays in getting scammed:
Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Demands for instant payment usually follow an offer that's too good to be true.
Funds - - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? If not, it's likely too good to be true. If the deal is so unbelievably good that it makes you feel a little guilty - watch out, you are about to bite a baited hook!
Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he can't be found after he gets your money. The person you feel you might be getting the better of - has made certain you'll never find him or her when you realize you've been played.
Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical negotiation, an Equitable contract and an Effective Guarantee. Beware of accepting a "cashier's check. It has the appearance of being legit, but can just as easily be produced as a fake non-cashier's check.
Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, checking Reviews, and examining government and watchdog reports. If you're being offered a great product due to someone else's distress, it's a good idea to review them thoroughly online before accepting the deal.
Legitimize your deal by determining if the company has a business license, liability insurance and is Lawsuit and background checked. Taking unfair advantage of someone not only makes you feel bad, it can often lead to a court battle. Listen to the angel on your shoulder during any transaction.
