The CalTek technician arrived 4/21/26 & quickly identified what was causing the noise my refrigerator was making. After the visit CalTek sent me a message the same day that indicated what the price would be to repair the refrigerator. No pressure for me to move forward with replacing the part. I responded that I wanted the repair to be done. The part was ordered, came in and another technician came out 4/28/26 for install. All was done smoothly, and in a very efficient manner.

The technician from CalTek was honest and efficient. He contacted me when he was on his way as promised. After a check on my appliance (20yrs old) he suggested I should consider replacing it rather than paying for one new ceramic burner since one other burner was a bit if-y too. I agreed. I was especially glad I could actually talk to a person in an office to set up the appointment and to the knowledgeable technician. They don’t sell appliances but he saved me money in the long run. I highly recommend CalTek, and will hire them again on any appliance.

Calvin, the technician, was able to repair my motorized cooktop vent by adjusting and realigning the internal microswitches, etc. It has been quite a while since I’ve seen a technician with the skill level to really repair something and not just replace parts (or the whole unit).
