Three for Thursday 03.04.2021

Welcome to TrustDALE's Three For Thursday with Consumer Investigator Dale Cardwell.

There are four stages in dealing with a rip off. I have witnessed this thousands of times. When people realize they have been intentionally conned, they're shocked. They then become angry and contemplate avenues for gaining revenge. I can't tell you how many people get stuck in the first three stages and repeat the pattern over and over. In fact, I get emails from people who failed to use TrustDALE to make a buying decision and ask me to get their money back, only to hear from them AGAIN after they once again, took a chance on a vendor that was not TrustDALE certified. My point is this: People who graduate from this cycle reach the fourth stage acknowledgement. The realization it can happen to them and the wisdom to not make the same mistakes again. Those people - not only graduate but join the community of TrustDALE.

Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Fast-talking foolers want significant $ in advance.

Funds - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? If not, it's likely too good to be true. Fast talkers can make unbelievable deals seem real.

Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he can't be found after he gets your money. Fast talkers who intend to rip you off are planning on not being found.

Define - Your deal by comparing Product, Offer and Price Protect yourself by thoroughly investigating the components of the product or offer rather than depending on the word of the fast talker.

Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical negotiation, an Equitable contract, and an Effective Guarantee.

Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, checking reviews, and examining government and watchdog reports. Fast talking foolers and fraudsters come with pre-loaded references. Ask for twenty references, then choose the three YOU choose to contact.

Legitimize - your deal by determining if the company has a business license, liability insurance and is Lawsuit and background checked
