Three for Thursday 04.07.2022
Welcome to TrustDALE's Three For Thursday with Consumer Investigator Dale Cardwell.
Are you a "want to," or a "have to" person? Last week, I purchased some chicken fingers and fries in a grocery store food court. It was elaborate, with at least fifteen employees. When I asked for catsup, at least three people conferred for a minute or so, and then told me "We don't have any." No one took the initiative of walking over to the store's condiment aisle and grabbing a bottle of catsup to serve their customer. These folks are "have to's, and their private sector owners should be concerned. One week later, I'm having my driver's license renewed at a Department of Driver's Services location. Linett was incredibly friendly, efficient and had me on my way in less than 15 minutes. Linett is a "want to," working a government job. TrustDALE partners with "want to" companies. If you encounter anything less, please let me know.

Todays Lesson on how to be a Savvy Consumer!
Today's seven-point lesson is evaluating work from home offers.
Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Never pay anything for a work from home opportunity.
Funds - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? If they offer to mail you a hefty sum in the form of a check, and ask you to return a smaller portion, it's a fraud.
Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he can't be found after he gets your money. Work from home fraudsters create fake addresses and fake Google earth locations.
Define - Your deal by comparing product, Offer and Price. Legit work from home vendors is in a competitive market. If someone is promising high income for low skill, it's probably not real.
Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical negotiation, an Equitable contract, and an Effective Guarantee. As a knowledgeable friend or expert in the field to review your work from home offer and agreement.
Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, checking reviews, and examining government and watchdog reports. Work from home contractors ought to be able to give you twenty references. Call the three to five you choose to call.
