Three for Thursday 07.01.2021

Welcome to TrustDALE's Three For Thursday with Consumer Investigator Dale Cardwell.

Do you think you're smarter than me? Chances are, you are. But I don't believe you're smarter than my team because I have hundreds of experts in dozens of fields who are ready, willing, and able to help you make smarter buying decisions. Sadly, that doesn't change the fact I run in to two types of people every week that I simply can't seem to reach. First, people who believe they know something about getting a "deal" that no one else seems to know. Second, people who - despite hearing of TrustDALE, hire someone they didn't check out before giving them money, usually lots of money. These people turn to TrustDALE only after they've been burned. My TV show tries to help these people, and their stories can break your heart. Check out this link to find the station in your city that airs our show insideinvestigations.com. In the meantime, if you want to save your family member or friend from heartache, please tell them about TrustDALE and our $10,000 Make It Right Guarantee. They'll be glad you did!

Todays Lesson on how to be a Savvy Consumer!

Today's seven-point lesson is on hiring a mover. (Because we're currently trying to help three families that made really bad decisions).

Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Never pay money up front for a move.

Funds - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? ALWAYS get three estimates. If one if drastically below the others, it's likely a con.

Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he can't be found after he gets your money. Only hire movers that have findable and permanent local offices.

Define - Your deal by comparing Product, Offer and Price. Avoid "pay by the hour" movers and get quotes from "pay by the weight" movers who give firm estimates.

Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical negotiation, an Equitable contract, and an Effective Guarantee. Moving contracts can be complicated. Make certain you're properly insured.

Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, checking reviews, and examining government and watchdog reports. Reviews and references are "musts" in this industry. Skimping on either can cost you!

Legitimize - your deal by determining if the company has a business license, liability insurance and is Lawsuit and background checked. Check with your state's authority to make certain your mover is licensed. (Google "who licenses movers in ________?" Fill in your state.
