Welcome to TrustDALE's Three For Thursday with Consumer Investigator Dale Cardwell.
If you're reading this, chances are you know about and use TrustDALE. Thank you! What you might not know, is that much of our proceeds from TrustDALE are poured into our free service of helping consumers. Every week, our team responds to consumers who have suffered a loss and are at the point of losing hope. We help make those people whole and ask for nothing in return. In addition, we often involve one of our partner companies in the solution. Our investigation below is an example. Please watch it, and if you like what we do, please tell five friends about TrustDALE. Better yet, copy and paste the link to our investigation on your social media channels, and tell them why you TrustDALE.

Ask Dale
Today's Ask Dale question comes from - a lot of you! Does Dale have a split personality?
Todays Lesson on how to be a Savvy Consumer!
Today's seven-point lesson is on how to recognize you need an independent party to help you make a buying decision.
Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Never give full payment upfront if you don't understand the product or process.
Funds - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? If it sounds too good to be true, I can almost guarantee there's a catch. You definitely need third party help to protect yourself.
Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he can't be found after he gets your money. This third party can be Google my business - which shows a visual description of the contractor's office. But don't stop there! If you're spending more than $1,000 - drive to that location to make certain it's really there, and it's really their office.
Define - Your deal by comparing Product, Offer and Price. This third-party influence can be other contractors or vendors competing for your business. Get three estimates!
Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical negotiation, an Equitable contract, and an Effective Guarantee. If you're spend is greater than your comfort level, hire a third party to examine your contract.
Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, checking reviews, and examining government and watchdog reports. References and legitimate review analysis are musts.
Legitimize - your deal by determining if the company has a business license, liability insurance and is Lawsuit and background checked. Checking these sources is free - and invaluable.
