Three for Thursday 11.03.2022
Welcome to TrustDALE's Three For Thursday with Consumer Investigator Dale Cardwell.
Have you ever heard the expression "The Thin Blue Line?" Here's the definition: "The thin blue line holds the frontier between chaos and civilian life, between crime and the American dream." I'm writing about this because our efforts to help consumers who have been intentionally harmed by con artists have never been more challenging. I don't mean to scare you, but our courts are all but ignoring property and theft by taking crimes. The TrustDALE team is monitoring multiple examples of significant thefts and each case has been delayed in its respective court system not for months but for years and years. In each of these cases, the perpetrators continue to defraud unsuspecting consumers with impunity because they have come to recognize they won't be held accountable. The "system" doesn't want you to know this because it might lead to even greater societal chaos. It's never been more important to vet the companies and individuals you do business with, because the system you grew up depending on is not what it used to be to say the least.

Todays Lesson on how to be a Savvy Consumer!
Today's seven-point lesson is on how to avoid getting caught in a legal entanglement.
Fast - Do they want your money NOW? Making rash financial upfront payment without written conditions and agreement virtually guarantees you'll lose in court.
Funds - Is the investment required relevant to the promised payoff? The more unfair an offer appears to be in your favor, the more groundwork the opposing party has done to win in a legal environment.
Found - A person who intends to rip you off will make certain he can't be found after he gets your money. A person who has gone to great effort to not be found following a transaction has likely put in an equal amount of work toward not being held legally accountable in the event you feel ripped off.
Define - Your deal by comparing product, Offer and Price. Thoroughly making these comparisons before the seller knows of your interest is a great way to avoid legal entanglements post purchase.
Ensure - Your deal with an Ethical negotiation, an Equitable contract, and an Effective Guarantee. Next to "define," the best preventative action you can take to avoid legal entanglements post purchase.
Authenticate - Your deal by requesting References, checking reviews, and examining government and watchdog reports. The third best path to avoiding legal entanglements post purchase.
Legitimize - your deal by determining if the company has a business license, liability insurance and is Lawsuit and background checked. These standards assure you the company isn't hiding; they don't protect you from being taken advantage of if you haven't done the rest of the seven-point investigation.
