If you use Amazon, check out this Sketchy of the Week!“I’ve been using Amazon for many, many years…” started the complaint from Alyana. But when she ordered $800 worth of items online from the retail giant, it ended up on other people’s doorsteps!“When I looked at my email and checked the picture, I noticed that it was NOT my house!”Amazon emailed an apology: “Please accept this token of apology for this unexpected issue.” They re-sent the items and offered Alyana a $40 promotional certificate. They promised they’d make it right. But once again, the packages were misdelivered.“And this was a completely different house than they’d delivered to the first time!”Another email, another apology. And then another shipment. Then another, and another, and ANOTHER! Seven deliveries in total to seven wrong addresses!“I reached out to TrustDALE,” says Alyana, “Because I just didn’t know what to do!”After TrustDALE got involved, Amazon finally called Alyana.Alyana spoke with staff at the Amazon hub and asked them to google her address. When they saw where it actually was, they changed the GPS coordinates in their system. Our question still is, how many times does this happen? And how much money is Amazon.com losing with these mistakes? Do they even care?
